After a month, the vegetables grown can already see obvious differences

Today is July 31st

31 days have passed since our hydroponic planting experiment

The planting light has been increased to 250µmol/m²/s.

That kind of spectrum planting is good, you can check the previous article, because the temperature is higher, the basil and lettuce are not in the best growing state.

But as a comparison, there is still a certain reference value.

There is a panoramic picture at the end of the article, and everyone should be able to see the difference

Below are the photos taken today

Growth status of hydroponic lettuce under different spectra

After a month of planting, the vegetables under the light slowly grow up.
The growth of basil does not seem to be very different, but in fact there is still a big difference when viewed close up.
The difference in lettuce is very obvious. We checked the light PPFD, the difference is within the normal range,
less than 3%; the difference in the EC value of the nutrient solution is also very small. After this planting experiment,
we will change the lamps and hydroponic system to exclude other factors except the light. If the difference is still the same as this time,
we can basically confirm the difference between the two crops in the spectrum.

In another week, we will harvest a few basil stalks and actually weigh them.
The test planting is not very rigorous, just for reference
